Wateja wa Tigo na ZANTEL sasa kufurahia huduma salama
na uhakika ya kutumiana fedha kwenye Mitandao yao kwa 100%
Zanzibar - 17 Desemba, 2014. Kampuni za simu za mkononi za Tigo na ZANTEL zamezindua rasmi huduma za
kutumiana pesa miongoni mwa wateja wake Tanzania. Mbali na huduma hiyo ya kutumiana pesa
miongoni mwa wateja wa mitandao hiyo, wateja wa EzyPesa na TigoPesa sasa wataweza
kutuma na kupokea pesa kwa marafiki na ndugu walio katika mitandao hiyo popote
pale nchini.
Kutekelezwa kwa mpango huo

Hakuna gharama za ziada mteja
anapotuma pesa kwa mtandao mwingine isipokuwa gharama zinakuwa sawa na zile
anapotuma kwenye mtandao wake. Wateja
wanaopokea pesa kutoka mtandao mwingine wanaweza kutoa pesa kwa wakala wa
mtandao wao na hapatakuwa tena na ulazima wa mteja kutafuta wakala wa mtandao
wa mtu aliyemtumia pesa.
Akizungumza kutoka Zanzibar, Mkuu wa Kitengo cha
Huduma za Fedha wa Tigo, Andrew Hodgson alisema: “Tunafuraha kupanua wigo kwa
wateja wetu kwa ubia na Zantel. Hatua
hii ni muhimu hasa kwa Zanzibar ambapo fursa ya kukua kwa huduma za fedha kwa
mitandao ya simu bado ni kubwa.”
Anasema kama ilivyo kwa huduma nyingine za simu
kama milio ya sauti na ujumbe mfupi wa maneno, kuna fursa kubwa ya kuimarisha
huduma kwa wateja kwa kushirikiana badala ya kushindana baina ya wadau katika
sekta ya mawasiliano kwa kupanua huduma za kutuma na kupokea fedha kwa kutumia
mitandao Tanzania.
Anafafanua zaidi kuwa kwa kufanya kazi na wadau
wengine, kunawawezesha kupanua wigo wa wateja na hivyo kwa pamoja kutoa huduma
ambazo ni bora zaidi, salama, na za haraka kwa wateja wa pande zote.
“Ubia ambao tumeingia leo sio tu utaleta karibu
kampuni zetu, bali muhimu zaidi ni ukaribu wa wateja wetu kwa kuwapatia huduma
za fedha za kielektroniki bora zaidi ambazo hawakuweza kuzipata hapo awali,”
alisema Hodgson.
Mkurugenzi wa Biashara wa Zantel,
Mohamed Mussa, anasema Zantel inaendelea kutimiza ahadi ya kuwarahisishia
huduma za fedha wateja wake kwa kufanya kazi pamoja na Tigopesa.
“Kwa kufanya hivi tunapanua
wigo kwa wateja wetu, huduma hii inawawezesha zaidi wateja kutuma na kupokea
fedha kwa urahisi zaidi,” anasema.
Anafafanua zaidi kuwa kwa
huduma hii itasaidia kuimarisha huduma za fedha kati ya visiwa vya Zanzibar na
Tanzania Bara.
