ABSTRACT: The good news that came into being two weeks ago is the revelation that Zanzibar's long elusive membership to CAF has finally been realized. And as we are all aware, the process towards achieving CAF membership was extremely long, mountainous and increasingly cumbersome, especially so taking into consideration that Zanzibar's long, tireless and steadfast efforts to FIFA membership ended up in total failure. 

In his presentation on the above-mentioned subject, Mr. Suleiman Mahmoud Jabir, a reknown sports expert and a long time member of the Zanzibar Council of Sports, will give his thoughts and revelations about the long process that characterized Zanzibar's increasing resilience and sense of purpose that have effectively contributed to the achievement of being elected to the membership of one of the most important global and prestigious football organizations.

He will also talk about the rights and obligations that ZFA will be subjected to in terms of the management of football tournaments in Zanzibar in line with CAF rules, regulations and requirements; as well as the prospects for future FIFA membership.
