Zanzibar is facing serious coronavirus COVID19 outbreak threat and needs your help 

I call to action for every Zanzibari and Diaspora everywhere around the world to come forward to support our country. It’s a call for responsibility and solidarity to fight the virus, we cannot let fear go viral, we need you. Together, we can still change the course of this pandemic, but that means addressing inaction. Don’t sit and watch

The best science tells us, if we detect, test, treat, isolate, trace and mobilize resources for our people in the response, we can go a long way to mitigating transmission in Zanzibar

I therefore call on everyone to step up and scale up efforts now. Organize yourself to help Zanzibar and since this is a crisis that affects your family, your neighbour, your class mate, your favorite shopkeeper, your best food vendor at Forodhani park, we must all play our part

Please do something and start mobilizing resources such masks, Medical PPEs, donations of medical supplies, fuel, disinfectants, power generators, bedsheets, containerized accommodation or office, personal protective equipment, Technological gadgets, food and funding for Isolation Centres in order for us to fight this epidemic 

Let us unite and come forward with resolve and without stigma.
