Dar es Salaam, May 06, 2015: ZANTEL has launched a new service named “ZUNINGA TV” a service that delivers latest news and entertainment to its subscribers directly to their mobile phones. The new ZUNINGA TV service is expected to ensure that ZANTEL customers can watch the TV programs such as news, bongo movies, religious, music, sports and other related contents they like on their handsets from a number of local media houses.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer Pratap Ghose, said the ZUNINGA TV which is open to all ZANTEL customers is another attractive service from ZANTEL because, “we have various TV programs for our customers which includes news and entertainment for recreation. Therefore, with this service our customers should be assured that their worries of missing out on their favourite programs on TV is no more.”

ZANTEL customers can subscribe to the service by dialling *149*11# select option number 1 and choose a service of their choice be it news, music, sports, cooks, movies or religious and starts to enjoy ZUNINGA TV free for fifteen days from today until the 21st of May 2015 and thereafter for Tsh.120/- per day.
Since its establishment, ZANTEL has added value to the telecom industry in Tanzania by introducing different innovations which have terrifically changed the lives of its customers.

It has also introduced a less complicated SMS services called Z-Kilimo which offers Tanzanian farmers agricultural tips ranging from techniques to the best seeds to use and in turn substantially increase farming productivity and food security in the financially sustainable way.
