SUZA and Zanzibar Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Plan to collaborate

The delegation is working on a project of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Zanzibar that is funded by the EU. Among other things, the objectives of the project are to develop a policy framework for renewable energy in Zanzibar, and to develop training as part of sustaining the efforts.  Under the project, it is expected that SUZA will review all existing courses that deal with renewable energy, develop new courses, and develop short-term courses to build skills on the same.
