MUSCAT HH Sayyid Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received in his office on Tuesday Haroun Ali Sulaiman, Minister for Labour, Peoples Economic Empowerment and Cooperatives in the Government of Zanzibar.
Haroun Ali Sulaiman conveyed greetings and best wishes of Dr Ali Mohammed Shein, President of Zanzibar, and the government to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the government and the Omani people.
The guest handed over a written message to Fahd from Saif Shareef Hammad, first Vice-President of Zanzibar, on enhancing cooperation between the two sides.
Conversation during the meeting touched on the relations between the two countries that stem from the historic bonds binding them, as well as means of promoting bilateral cooperation particularly in economic and investment fields, in addition to reviewing situations being witnessed by the region.
Haroun Ali Sulaiman expressed his delight over his chance to visit the Sultanate and exchange viewpoints with officials on various aspects. The meeting was also attended by HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Bakri, Manpower Minister.
