Postgraduate Scholarship offered by the Oman Academic Fellowship

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Zanzibar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education of Oman and Oman Academic Fellowship (OAF) Joint Committee is pleased to invite potential applicants of qualified Zanzibaris to apply for postgraduate scholarships under the Oman Academic Fellowship (OAF) Program for the academic year 2014/2015.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. All applicants must be Zanzibaris.
2. Must not exceed 35 years of age for Masters and 45 years of age for PhD applicants.
3. Must have a GPA of at least 2.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent from other educational systems. Preferences will be given to candidates with the highest GPAs.
4. Must have a score of at least 6.0 in (IELTS) or 550 in (paper based) TOEFL or equivalent in iBT TOEFL.
5. Must have specialized in a certain field of study with valid work experience. Noticeable accomplishments will be a plus.
6. All educational qualifications must be issued by accredited educational institutions and authenticated by credible educational bodies.


APPLICATION PROCEDURES
* All applicants must fill out the electronic application through the Higher Education Admission Center via website: http://www.heac.gov.om
* Applicants must upload the following scanned documents:
i. Identification Documents (either Passport or ID Card)
ii. Birth certificate
iii. Master’s certificate and academic transcript (for PhD applicants only)
iv. Bachelor certificate and academic transcript
v. Form VI and Form IV certificates
vi. (IELTS) or TOEFL certificate
vii. CV showing all work experience

    assalam aleikum...nimejaribu kufanya admission lakini kwangu mie inashindikana, kwasababu nimejaza information zangu zote lakini nikitaka ku click ile sehemu iloandikwa 'submit' haiko active..

    Jaribu kuwapigia Oman Embassy au kama uko nyumbani nenda pale ubalozini ukachukue form... Hata hivyo mimi naona Scholarship hizi zitawapatia chance watu wasiokua Wazanzibari kwasababu ya Umri walioweka hautawasaidia wale Wazanzibari waliopita umri wa 35 kwa master.. Mimi nina mwanangu amepata qualification nzuri katika Degree yake ya Udaktari alioifanya Aldarate Nairobi .. Na hakusomeshwa na Serikali basi ni family.. sasa tokea amalize ni miaka 5 na hajapata hata Master degree na umri wake ni mika 40 sasa.. Kweli mtu huyo atapata kufanya masters kweli? kwa hali ya age limited..

    Assalaam alaykum, ndugu yangu wewe angalau umefika hatua ya kujaza, mimi bado nahangaika bado sijaona hiyo sehemu ya kujaza form online katika website yao. Hebu naomba nieleza iko wapi sehemu ya kujaza online.
    Naomba tusaidiane kwani deadline haiko mbali, na mabo ya mitandao kama tunavyojua huku kwetu bado yana mushkeli
