ISLANDS Project/INDIAN OCEAN COMMISSION donated 1,200 comic books titled "The Great Trips of Dilan in the Indian Ocean", 250 Teachers' guide books and 700 DVDs on Education for Sustainable Development - to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Zanzibar and the Zanzibar Association of Private Schools. These educational materials have been produced from the work of primary schools children from Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, and Zanzibar - with the aim of raising awareness on education, environment and sustainable development.
