HIGH LEVEL TANZANIAN DELEGATION VISITS STATE GENERAL RESERVE FUND (SGRF) OF OMAN

 Hon. Dr. Mary Nagu – Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office was in Muscat Oman from 6 – 8 September 2014 to inaugurate and officiate the High Level Consultative Meeting between the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) and the State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) of Oman.

This meeting was a culmination of a series of several other meetings between the two sides aiming at finalising an Agreement on Investment Cooperation between the two sides.

Earlier Hon. Dr. Nagu met with H. E. Abdulsalam Murshidi – the Executive President of State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) of Oman followed by another High level meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman HH Sayyid Badr Al Busaidy.  The above High level meetings were also attended by H.E. Ali Ahmed Saleh the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Oman.

Later on, Officials from the two sides held meetings to chart out details towards the final Agreement between the United Republic of Tanzania and SGRF which is excepted to see Oman investment flow to supporting some high profile projects in Tanzania.
