Pemba, August 19, 2015: Zantel Tanzania has today donated 10 million Tshs as a contribution to build 6 classrooms of Mkanyageni Primary School in Pemba.
The donation aims at improving education standards to local communities through rendering support and providing school requirements such as infrastructure construction and renovations, the contribution will be used for finishing a building containing 6 class rooms covering costs of fitting windows and doors, cementing floor of 6 class rooms, plastering of 6 classrooms walls, painting of 6 classrooms walls and labor for the work.
Zantel is keen to empower the societies we are serving, and this donation is aimed to contribute to national building by improving the lives of future leaders to have better environment to acquire education, Government alone cannot successfully fund a functional educational system, so it’s important for us to assist youths become the best in their various endeavors through education.
