Invitation for Tenders

Date:  10^TH OCTOBER, 2016

1.      This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice Issue no. 1/2016 for this Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo Newspaper dated 15/04/2016 and Daily News Newspaper dated 15/04/2016.

2.      The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited has set aside funds during the financial year 2016. It is intended that part of that proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of Calendars and Diaries for year 2017.

3.      The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible Printers and Suppliers of Calendars and Diaries.

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of public Asset Act No 9 of 2005.

5.      Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of Secretary Tender Board, the People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited, P. O. Box 1173- Zanzibar from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

6.      A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shillings One hundred thousand only (TZS100,000/=). Payment should be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited.

7.      All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in the form of Banker’s cheque payable to the People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited in the amount of  Tanzania shillings  one million only (TZS 1,000,000.00)

8. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below:

at or before 2:00pm on Thursday 10^th November, 2016. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited, Mpirani IB Head Office Conference Room, Zanzibar.

9.      Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.

1.      This Invitation for quotations follows the General Procurement Notice Issue no. 1/2016 for this Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo Newspaper dated 15/04/2016 and Daily News Newspaper dated 15/04/2016.

2.      The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2016. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for various services as follows:

4.      A complete set of quotation Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 50,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Bank account, Tender Commitment Fees, account number 41020125.

5.      All quotation in one original plus One copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Quotation No: …………. for Provision Of ……… Services To All Bank Buildings must be delivered to the address below:

6.      Deadline for submission will be on Monday 31^st October, 2016 at 1400 hours local time. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the conference room, PBZ Islamic Bank - Mpirani Branch, Zanzibar.

7.      Late, partial and electronic quotations, and quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
