MUWAZA (Zanzibar Forward), an organization of Zanzibaris in Diaspora, has learned that donor countries in Tanzania have donated large amount of funds to the UNDP in Tanzania to facilitate the smooth running of free and fair forthcoming elections in Tanzania.
It is understood that UNDP is discriminating in distributing the allocated funds to the elections in Zanzibar. Some critical organisations and individuals have been singled out and have failed to be allocated any funds. UAMSHO, an organisation of young Muslims in Zanzibar, has so far had their application ignored totally.
MUWAZA appeals to the Embassy of France to intervene and send a letter of protest to the other Donor Countries Embassies in Tanzania and a letter of protest directly to the UNDP both in Tanzania and to the UN.

Get a grip fella! From my understanding this type of funds are allocated to political organisation in contrast to religious group, as a religious group, that Muamsho shouldn't get involved in politics at first place.
