Tanzanian striker Adi (full name Abdillahie) signed for the Brewers after a trial period with the club during the summer. Born in Zanzibar, Adi has worked hard to develop his footballing career and has had a good grounding through the Leicester City Academy where he was a regular scorer.
Last season saw Adi get his first taste of senior football with a loan spell at Conference side Tamworth (alongside Albion keeper Ross Atkins) where he scored twice in six starts for the Lambs. After his release from the Foxes he impressed Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido in training and in two trial games, scoring once, to earn a one year contract at the Pirelli Stadium.
