Fundraising event in Wales to raise funds for schoolchildren in Zanzibar

FUNDRAISING events have been organised to raise money for schoolchildren in Zanzibar, off the coast of Africa.

The charity Bigger Heart Zanzibar, whose chairwoman is St Thomas primary parent Layla Yahya, is behind them. Mehndi henna painting takes place at St Thomas library on July 1 from 3.30pm to 5pm, with hair braiding on July 4 at the same time.
